Jasmine earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Samford University in 2010 and Masters of Science in Nursing at Georgia State University in 2016. She joined the group in June 2017 after working as a Registered Nurse for five years within critical care and step-down units. She recently obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Georgia State University in Spring 2021 and was accepted into the Veterans Administration Quality Scholars Program (VAQS) with Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She will focus on quality improvement initiatives that tackle health disparities and fill gaps in care throughout the nation’s healthcare systems. Her interests include health literacy, quality improvement, HIV education and prevention within the black population, and antimicrobial stewardship.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running 5ks and half marathons, spending quality time with family and friends, and Alabama Football!
