Dana graduated from University of Richmond with a bachelor’s degree in global health. She developed her passion for infectious diseases, with special interest in HIV, during her time studying and working in the US and abroad. After graduation, Dana worked at a non-profit with vulnerable youth in Rwanda, and as an EMT in Virginia.
Dana moved to Atlanta to pursue her graduate studies at Emory University. She completed her Master of Public Health, where her research focused on HIV care in South Africa and healthcare in correctional facilities. She earned her Master of Medical Science from Emory’s Physician Assistant Program. Dana is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, Dana enjoys crafting, sewing, hiking, traveling, and gluten free baking.
